Frequently Asked Questions:
Q- What should I do about my holiday if I do not feel well with COVID symptoms, one of my close contacts/ family is unwell or I have been told to isolate through test and trace?
A- Please do not travel if you or any of your close contacts are ill with any of the published symptoms of COVID-19 even if they are not coming on this holiday. If you appear to be unwell we reserve the right to send you away and refuse admission. Let us know as soon as possible if you cannot come because your travel arrangements are affected by COVID restrictions and you can transfer your holiday to another date before the end of October 2021. If you become unwell on your holiday please go home straight away. Do not come to the office or approach staff or any other guests. Please Phone, text or email to let us know straight away.
Q- Will the toilets and showers be open?
A- Toilet and showers are open but there there is a reduction in the number of people who are able to use the facilities at any one time, for this reason we are asking guests to have their own toilet and washing facilities. There is room on most pitches for a separate toilet tent at no extra charge.
Q- What cleaning will you carry out?
A- We have always worked hard to keep our facilities clean, visiting them several times a day during peak periods. Extra cleaning visits will be carried out in addition to the daily deep clean. We are using cleaning materials which are designed to kill viruses. There is hand sanitiser to use before entering the toilets, showers and washing up areas. Hand sanitiser stations are available at the waste disposal points.
Q- Will I need to wear a face covering?
A- Face coverings should be worn when you are approaching staff members for assistance, entering the buildings, at waste disposal points, taps and other areas where there may be more people gathering where there is a risk of transmission. For every ones safety continue to observe 2m social distancing and hand washing even when on holiday.
Q- Will you still require £10 cash deposit for my key card?
A- Yes. We have worked out a method to reduce contact with surfaces when issuing key cards, taking and returning your cash deposits for key cards.
Q- What other things can I do to help reduce the spread of disease?
A- Using hand sanitiser or washing your hands on a regular basis will help reduce the spread of disease. Although we have hand sanitiser stations around the site it would be useful to carry your own hand sanitiser with you for when you are using taps, opening and closing gates etc. You may find it reassuring to use disinfectant wipes before and after using taps and toilets. But please dispose of these in the waste bins and not down the toilets.
