 Please note that by making a booking at Mill Hill Farm Campsite you are agreeing to  adhere to these Terms & Conditions and are responsible for ensuring that all members of your party abide by them.



¨ A deposit of 50% of the total cost of the booking is required to secure your pitch; the balance will be payable 7 days prior to arrival.  For bookings made within 7 days of arrival date, payment in full is required at the time of booking.  If the deposit is not received within 7 days of making the  booking/enquiry the reservation will be cancelled and the pitch released. 

¨ In the event of a cancellation more than 7 days before the commencement date then a credit note, valid for 12 months will be issued.  Any cancellations within 7 days of the   commencement date will not be credited but we will allow the transfer of the booking to a third party nominated by you.  The value of the transferred booking shall be equal to or greater than the original.  No refunds will be given.

¨ There is a minimum stay of 3 nights over Bank Holidays and 2 nights during July/August.

¨ Bookings of more than 2 units are accepted at our discretion and subject to signed agreement of our Terms & Conditions.  PLEASE NOTE THAT WE ARE NOT A SUITABLE VENUE FOR PARTIES/STAG NIGHTS/HEN DO’S. 

¨ Day visitors are limited to 1 car per booking, must check in at reception on arrival and   depart by 8pm.  Please advise reception prior to their arrival.

¨ We will endeavour to accommodate requests for specific areas/pitches but due to         unforeseeable circumstances cannot guarantee that you will be on a certain pitch.


¨ Pitches may be claimed between 2pm and 5pm, please check in at reception (open from 2pm) on arrival. 

Arrivals between 5pm and 8pm are by prior arrangement only. 

Strictly no arrivals after 8pm.

If your pitch is not claimed by 8pm on day of arrival we reserve the right to    reallocate it.  Please advise us as soon as possible if you are unavoidably        delayed.

¨ Pitches must be vacated no later than 11.30am on the day of departure.  If you wish to depart later than this (by 4pm) please check with reception first.  We will accommodate your request whenever we can but during busy times this may not be possible.


¨ Quiet, well behaved, dogs are welcome on site but must be kept on a lead in all areas of the site (except in the designated dog walk area), please clean up any fouling immediately;    numerous dog bins are provided around the site and pet waste disposal bags are available in reception if required.  Dogs must be kept under control at all times.  Please keep to the paths when walking the dog trails. 

¨ All dog owners please note that persistent/annoying barking or fouling will not be tolerated.  Anyone allowing their dog to bark or failing to clean up behind their dog will be asked to leave the site without refund.  Dogs should not be left unattended or in the care of young children.

¨ Please respect your fellow campers’ peace and privacy and ensure that they are not         inconvenienced by your noise, children or dogs, or by taking short cuts across their pitch. 

¨ To preserve the tranquillity of the site we actively operate a strict, quiet between 9pm and 9am policy; during this time other campers should not be able to hear you.         Anyone not  adhering to this policy or anyone making excessive noise at any time (including noisy dogs/children/loud music) will be asked to leave the site.  No  refunds will be given.   Music should not be heard at any time.

¨ For their own safety and to avoid nuisance to others, children under 12 years must be      supervised by a responsible adult at all times during your stay, this includes      toilets, showers, shop and play area.  Please do not allow children to play around the       entrance, reception area and roadway. 

¨ To avoid disturbance of other campers or possible damage to tents or caravans, ball games (including swingball) are NOT permitted around the pitches at any time; a        designated play area (for use between 10am and 7pm or dusk if earlier) has been provided but please ensure your children are supervised at all times.


¨ BBQ’s and fire pits are allowed on site but for safety reasons must be raised off of the ground; we can provide bricks if required.  Logs may be purchased from reception or you may bring your own; please note that foraging is not allowed on site as we are a Site of Scientific Interest and what may look like an old dead log or a pile or twigs may have been specially placed for wildlife and should not be disturbed.  Camp fires are not permitted.

¨ Organic / formaldehyde free toilet fluid must be used whilst on site to avoid destroying the biomass in the sewage treatment plant.  Please empty out any other type of chemical fluid before arrival.

¨ Please observe the site speed limit of 5mph.

¨ The owner accepts no responsibility for personal injury to guests, or loss of, or damage to their property whilst on site.

¨ All reservations are accepted on the basis that the guest accepts the Booking Terms &     Conditions whether they have read them or not.
